We make our produce labels specifically to integrate with our machines for the best possible performance of your produce labeling system. Since our inception, we have had an active materials development and manufacturing improvement program. Our intent is to manufacture the best labels for your produce at the best price and ensure that the labels work properly in Pro Label equipment. We manufacture a proprietary, FDA/EU compliant material that is highly flexible and conforms to the wide variety of produce. We even have special adhesives for difficult to label products. 


We can help with all phases of label production. We can use your existing art and adapt it to the size needed for labeling produce, or we can work with you to design your own completely unique label.

PI-2000 Automatic Produce

Our model 2000 produce labeling machine is our latest machine. It is the result of over 20 years of experience developing machinery for labeling fruit and vegetables. We’ve taken this experience and have produced a machine with features that make it a great choice for many of today’s packing houses. Simple, visual, mechanics mean that highly trained personnel are required to monitor the labeling system. 


With the need to keep labor at a minimum, the 2000 saves costs by freeing personnel to do other tasks.  We have made sure that keeping your system running efficiently is easy. The status and fault analysis panel allows for easy troubleshooting, reducing downtime and costs.


OPTIONAL PRINT ON DEMAND

Pro Label International, Inc offers the client-driven solution of Print-on-Demand. Print variable information including GTINs, PLU numbers and bar codes as needed.


ADDITIONAL FEATURES

  • The 2000 has electronic diagnostics, providing feedback to quickly identify service and operational issues. 
  • The 2000 has programmable electronics. Allows service technician to upgrade software to new versions when available.
  • All moving parts are mounted on a single service plate. Results in easier maintenance
  • The 2000 is able to operate with its’ own encoder and therefore is not dependent on the sizer’s timing pulse. Results in more precise control of label placement.
  • All tape tension components are precision machined. Insures that labels index precisely.
  • Label sensor housing is adjustable on two planes. Switching between different label sizes is simple and fast.

What Makes Our Labeling

Machines Different

Our original labeling machine has been in operation for over 20 years. It is a dependable machine that will label your produce year after year. While the 1900 is not capable of the speeds of our newer model 2000, it is still appropriate for many applications. We have installed thousands of these over the years, most of which are still operating daily.

STANDARD FEATURES

  • Solid construction, mechanically simple utilizing precision cast and injection molded parts. Powder coated case for corrosion protection.
  • High speed D.C. stepper motor driven. Adjustable speed.
  • Fully self contained, requiring only two bolts and a power cord for mounting. Supplied with a quick release mounting bracket.

  • Will the company offering the equipment take responsibility for both the machine and labels?

    Having one source responsibility has proven critical in the produce labeling industry. There should be no question who is responsible for the performance of your system. When the labels and the machine are designed to go together, you are assured the best performance with the fewest problems.   • How widely distributed is the equipment?

    Dealing with a company that sells and distributes equipment in more than just one geographic area is a plus for you. It means that experience, parts, supplies, and maintenance services are available in more than just one location.

    A company with a wide base of customers means you will have ongoing availability of parts and service. When a system is in wide use, it is economically viable for the provider to continue to manufacture parts and provide service.
