Top 5 Reasons the PL 3000 is Faster, Easier, and More Affordable Than Bellows-Type Labeling Machines

1) The Merge Method is Faster

Bellows-style machines have many parts, making them more complex. The fastest bellows machine can label at a speed of 720 feet per minute (fpm) with a high success rate. However, the Pro Label PL 3000 is even faster, labeling up to 900 fpm with a similar success rate. This makes the PL 3000 a better choice for high-throughput (fast) labeling.

2) Easier Maintenance with Fewer Parts

The Merge applicator is easier to maintain because it has fewer moving parts than bellows-type machines. Many bellows-style machines need yearly maintenance done by trained technicians.

In contrast, our applicator is simple enough for most users to maintain just by following the manual. When problems do occur, they are usually easy to fix with spare parts included in the box. Fewer moving parts mean fewer headaches.

3) Simple Operation, Better Results

Bellows-type machines have a complex process. They use suction to remove the label from the roll, then rotate and reverse the suction to attach the label to the fruit.

Our PL 3000 uses a simpler method with the same, if not better, results. It’s servo-driven, following the speed of the production line. If one applicator needs to be replaced or moved to another line, it doesn’t affect the rest of the system.

4) More Cost-Effective

The PL 3000 is not only less expensive to buy than a bellows-type machine, but it’s also cheaper to maintain over time. This gives customers more value for their money.

5) Customer Ownership Without Gimmicks

Most bellows-type machines are sold as part of a complicated bundle of equipment, labels, and technical support. These bundles are pre-packaged and don’t give customers much choice.

In contrast, our applicator is customer-owned, easy to install, and simple to maintain. There are no hidden costs or tricks. Customers have control over their equipment and don’t need to sign up for complicated service agreements.
