Pro Label International has been serving the fruit and vegetable packers and growers of the USA, Canada, and Mexico since 1994. In fact, many of the original installations are still in place over 20 years later, meeting our customers' labeling needs and continuing to save them money.

A common complaint that we get from new customers is that they needed to pay a single price, based on annual label volume commitments as well as machine "lease" and technical support from the competition – whether they needed it or not. We make our produce labels specifically to integrate with our machines for the best possible performance of your produce labeling system. Since our inception, we have had an active materials development and manufacturing improvement program. Our intent is to manufacture the best labels for your produce at the best price and ensure that the labels work properly in Pro Label equipment. We manufacture a proprietary, FDA/EU compliant material that is highly flexible and conforms to the wide variety of produce. We even have special adhesives for difficult to label products. 


We can help with all phases of label production. We can use your existing art and adapt it to the size needed for labeling produce, or we can work with you to design your own completely unique label.

Our machines have been in operation for over 25 years Many of our machines, installed decades ago, are still in operation today. It is a dependable machine that will label your produce year after year. While the 1900 is not capable of the speeds of our newer model 2000, it is still appropriate for many applications. We have installed thousands of these over the years, most of which are still operating daily.

STANDARD FEATURES

  • Solid construction, mechanically simple utilizing precision cast and injection molded parts. Powder coated case for corrosion protection.
  • High speed D.C. stepper motor driven. Adjustable speed.
  • Fully self contained, requiring only two bolts and a power cord for mounting. Supplied with a quick release mounting bracket.

Cost-Effective Print Labeling Solutions

Advantages of Print-in-Demand

1) Inventory management: Print-on-Demand allows the packer to print labels for ALL varieties as they are needed / they never run out of the appropriate label and save the management “headaches” associated with forecasting demand and committing financial resources ahead of time for producing varieties that might not be packed in the coming season. POD reduces the physical stocking and management of specific inventory levels for multiple-label SKUs, which improves efficiency and reduces cost.


2) Better Pricing Per ‘000 labels: Print-on-Demand simplifies the ordering process. Fewer label SKUs need to be ordered and label quantities are consolidated into fewer SKUs. This lowers the price per 1000 labels. The Flexo printing process is more efficient at higher order quantities and Pro Label passes cost efficiencies on to the customer through better pricing as order volume increases. 


3) CHANGEOVER: With pre-printed labels, the packing line must be stopped when changing between produce varieties. Label rolls must be removed from each labeling machine and the correct pre-printed label roll must be installed. With Print-on-Demand, no physical roll changes are necessary. This saves time and improves efficiency on the packing line.
